Jamieson Post Office was originally built in 1864 as the Government residence for the postmaster. Four years later it became the official Post Office, and has remained open to this day as a Licensed Post Office. The mail service is a general delivery, so you have to front up at the Post Office to collect your mail. The Woods Point mail truck gets in weekdays from Mansfield at 2.45pm, the mail is then sorted and is ready for collection at 3.30pm.
