The Courthouse Hotel sits in the centre of town, opposite the Catholic Church. The pub is open 7 days a week. The beer is cold and the hospitality warm. In winter there are open fires. It has a terrific atmosphere, and you can rub shoulders with plenty of locals here, and catch up on town gossip.

Wili's Thai Junction is the newest business in Jamieson. Planned to open at Easter 2020, the newly introduced COVID-19 restrictions meant that it could only open as a take-away.

It is located in the Old Colonial Bank building, home at one time to French's Restaurant, then The Duck Inn and more recently Mingo's. You can read more of the history on the restaurant's website or on Jamieson & District Historical Society's website.
