Berrington Holiday Units (including 3 units and 1 house) are situated on 1.5 acres of beautiful established gardens., 1 mins walk to the river and 3 mins walk to the town centre. Quiet and peaceful, the units are comfortably furnished to make you feel completely at home. Native birds abound, and the afternoon light filtering through the huge trees all contribute to a great holiday experience.

Our farm is situated 2.5km from Jamieson township, in the beautiful Jamieson Valley, with views to the nearby hills and farmland.  Enjoy bushwalking, fishing, farm activities or sit back with a cuppa and watch the native birds and animals from the balcony.  The kids can enjoy the adventure playground and fairy garden.  Seasonal home grown vegetables are available from our large veggie patch; show the kids where their food comes from!

 

The farm has four self contained cottages each of which sleeps up to six people, with reverse cycle a/c, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area, bathroom/laundry, two bedrooms (one with queen bed, the other with two sets of bunks), linen and towels supplied. River Rock Cottages are in the centre of the popular yet tranquil Jamieson township, situation in the heart of Victoria’s legendary High Country, a short 30 minute drive south of Mansfield, the gateway to Mount Buller’s snowfields. River Rock Cottages consist of 3 newly built cottages that can accommodate up to 4 people and are perfect for either a romantic or a family getaway.  Each Cottage has been elegantly furnished with the finest decor. All cottages have with 2 bedrooms, bathroom (with hairdryer), laundry, front balcony and private backyard. Reverse cycle heating/air conditioning provides year round comfort, but slow burning wood fires provide cosiness for the colder nights. Towels and fresh linen are provided.   Each kitchen has 4-burner stove, oven, microwave and full size fridge.  Lounge has TV/DVD/CD players.

Each Cottage also has its own protected balcony and BBQ facilities for outdoor dining if preferred. There is undercover car parking, on site, next to each cottage.

‘The Cabin at Kevington’ is nestled amongst state forest and is set on the banks of the beautiful Goulburn River. Just a 5 minute stroll to the historic Kevington Hotel, a 10 minute drive from Jamieson or 50 minutes from the ski fields of Mt Buller, you can choose from a multitude of activities in the area or simply relax by your own private swimming hole in summer, or get cosy by the fire in winter.

 

The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests. There are two bedrooms one with a queen bed, the second with a double bed and a set of bunks. Wool quilts, a range of hypo-allergenic pillows, luxurious 1000 thread count sheets, quality quilt covers and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and more, including pantry essentials. There is a cosy wood-fired heater, gas heater, gas BBQ oven and outdoor dining setting.  Lilo’s, hammocks and fishing rods are provided and well behaved pets are allowed.

Laurel Berry Lodge

 

Laurel Berry Lodge is a comfortable family holiday home located centrally in Jamieson and near the beautiful Jamieson River.  This fully equipped home offers plain old fashioned comfort but still has the usual modern conveniences, if needed, such as wifi and a Smart TV with Netflix.   Large open plan kitchen and lounge area, cosy wood fire as well as a split system, dining area seats 6 with spacious kitchen, cooktop, wall oven, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher.

The home has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people.

  • Bedroom 2 - double bed and single bed

  • Bedroom 3 - unavailable (locked for owner’s convenience)

There are 2 bathrooms, both with toilets, showers and vanity.  Linen, towels and basic toilers are supplied along with tea, coffee and basic staple items.  

The home has wheelchair access with wide verandahs surrounding this home providing an all weather space to site and enjoy or cook up a feast on the new gas BBQ.  There is also an outside overhead electric heater.  

Large enclosed backyard for the kids and dogs to play.  Dogs are more than welcome and bowls, beds and toys provided for your furry friends.  

The river, kids playground or town centre (general store, hotel, cafe and post office) are just a few minutes walk away or take a 30 minute drive to the larger town of Mansfield or further on to Mt Stirling, Mt Buller or the many other beautiful spots that the High Country has to offer.

There is also a boat ramp within minutes of the house to enjoy fishing Lake Eildon or its tributaries.  Once you visit Jamieson, you’ll want to keep returning!
