The Courthouse Hotel sits in the centre of town, opposite the Catholic Church. The pub is open 7 days a week. The beer is cold and the hospitality warm. In winter there are open fires. It has a terrific atmosphere, and you can rub shoulders with plenty of locals here, and catch up on town gossip. The pub has EFTPOS and a Bottle Shop facility.

The Poplar Kevington Hotel was built in 1862 as Garretts Beerhouse and is the last remaining hotel from the days of the gold boom. It is known affectionately by locals and visitors alike as the Kevy Pub or the Kevington Hilton.

Beautiful Shere homestead was built shortly after the second world war in the centre of Jamieson. The stunning established garden features a line of massive old pin oaks, a lovely waterfall and many shady nooks, ideal for relaxing during the summer months. The large stone open fireplace in the timber lined lounge provides a cozy respite in the winter months. Shere became the Jamieson Bistro in the early 80's when it was opened by local identities Ron Parker and Doug Sands. In 1983 it was purchased by Carmel and Milton Watson and became the famous Watsons Restaurant. It has now been fully refurbished by Carmel as a Bed and Breakfast. The Jamieson Bed and Breakfast has 3 king size double bedrooms, a master suite and two attic suites. The attic suites share an en-suite and the master suite has an en suite as well as a cedar lined sauna.
